Our process

We follow a 3-step process for all investigations:

  • Pre-Investigation review and support

Our process starts with a review of the information available. This can include reading relevant workplace policies, external standards, legislation and guidelines. We then move on to reading the details of the case and providing advice for any immediate necessary action. During this time, we can advise whether a formal investigation is appropriate.

  • Investigation

This step involves preparing an investigation plan, arranging interviews with relevant parties, obtaining evidence and comprehensively reviewing all available information.

  • Preparing a report and recommendations

Once the investigation is complete, we review the allegations along with the information collected and prepare a detailed report of our findings. This may include recommendations for improving any HR processes, identified during the investigation.

Post investigation Support

We understand how a workplace investigation can disrupt teams and the general culture within organisations. Often, there is repair work required when an investigation concludes.
